About the role
The Legal team turns complexity into clarity by partnering with teams across Revolut to provide sharp, practical advice that helps the business move fast while staying protected. From structuring credit programmes to navigating new markets, the Legal team ensures growth is secure, compliant, and built for the long term.
We're looking for a Legal Counsel to advise on retail lending and wider credit compliance and legal issues.
What you'll be doing
- Acting as the primary legal advisor for the design and structuring of consumer credit products in the UK
- Drafting, maintaining, and continuously updating the core suite of legal agreements and standard documentation regulated by English law
- Advising business and risk teams on legal risks and enforcement considerations inherent to consumer credit structures across markets
- Overseeing the legal work stream for global expansion of consumer finance features
- Managing external stakeholder relationships
What you'll need
- 4+ years of PQE
- Experience either in-house or in private practice advising on retail banking/consumer credit
- Expertise in drafting documentation regulated by English law
- Excellent academic and law firm credentials
- Sound judgement, composure under pressure, and a collaborative mindset
- Confidence in making decisions where there's ambiguity or incomplete information
- Broad-based credit knowledge, including experience advising clients or internal stakeholders on a variety of retail lending and general retail credit products
- Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills
