In a fast-moving, digital environment, they stay one step ahead by finding smart, scalable ways to manage conduct risk. We’re looking for a Business Compliance Manager to support and advise product and business teams on first-line compliance requirements. You\’ll ensure retail and payments features are designed, launched, and scaled in line with applicable regulatory obligations while maintaining a pragmatic, business-enabling approach. Owning end-to-end payments compliance across the business, ensuring regulatory requirements, customer outcomes, and commercial objectives are met Acting as the 1st line compliance partner for payments, supporting the design, launch, and scaling of compliant payment flows Identifying, assessing, and monitoring compliance risks across payments flows, proposing proportionate controls and mitigations Reviewing new and existing payments regulations, identifying relevant obligations, and driving timely business implementation Drafting, maintaining, and enhancing internal policies, standards, and controls related to payments compliance Challenging the business constructively to ensure regulatory expectations are met without compromising customer experience Building and shaping the payments compliance function, with the potential to become a global point of contact as the team scales 6+ years of compliance experience in payments or general product compliance ~ Experience in financial services ~ Experience with process design or enhancements to improve compliance programmes with payment regulations ~ The ability to work well under pressure, manage multiple projects at once, and meet tight deadlines A background in regulatory compliance, including expertise across consumer protection/conduct rules (e.g., An understanding of how compliance risk and business risk interact Highly adaptable skills to work in a fast-paced, high-performance environment
