About the role
Our Compliance team blends regulatory expertise with data-driven thinking to make sure our products meet legal and policy requirements and deliver real value to customers. In a fast-moving, digital environment, they stay one step ahead by finding smart, scalable ways to manage conduct risk.
We’re looking for a Regulatory Compliance Manager to oversee regulatory frameworks around wealth and trading features. You’ll keep our consumer protection practice in compliance while providing oversight on regulatory obligations and related controls.
What you’ll be doing
- Providing oversight on compliance obligations for W&T products and related controls for operations across the business
- Ensuring high-quality regulatory mapping
- Challenging, assessing, and implementing policies from scratch
- Reviewing 1LoD compliance approvals for W&T products, and providing appropriate feedback
- Implementing a robust, company-wide training and competency program for W&T
- Providing 2LoD oversight on W&T complaints, diving into root-cause analysis to drive better customer outcomes
- Overseeing horizon scanning for relevant geographies
What you’ll need
- 7+ years of experience in a regulatory compliance role within a consultancy, compliance function, or regulator with expertise in W&T related obligations (MiFID, EMIR, PROD)
- A university degree in STEM, business, or finance
- Knowledge of how to conduct regulatory gap analysis
- Familiarity with policy creation and implementation
- A solid understanding of the interplay between compliance risk and business risk
- The ability to work well under pressure, manage multiple projects at once, and meet tight deadlines
- The ability to communicate positively with members of various internal teams and regulators
- Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Fluency in English
