About the role
Risk at Revolut operates across all functions, products, and regions to monitor front-line performance and ensure the business operates safely.
They're among the first to be involved in new initiatives, from tech to customer support.
We're looking for a Model Risk Manager who's passionate about data and analytics to apply ML/AI techniques across a variety of business areas of our UK Bank.
You'll challenge existing modelling processes and elevate them to new standards, supporting Revolut's growth and ensuring models drive business decisions, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance.
- What you'll be doing
- Contributing to providing key insights on material models to senior management and the Board Risk & Compliance Committee
- Identifying areas for improvement in modelling processes and methodologies, ensuring models are within our risk appetite
- Supporting the provision of recommendations to model developers to mitigate risk
- Embedding and maintaining model risk management practices across the model lifecycle
- Improving the understanding of model assumptions, limitations, and outputs among senior management
- What you'll need
- 4+ years of experience having validated and/or developed any of the following model types: Market Risk, Liquidity Risk, Capital Risk, Finance & Treasury, Financial Crime, or Data Science
- Solid working knowledge of Python and SQL
- Experience with probability distributions, time series analysis, regression modeling, and Monte Carlo simulations
- Excellent communication skills and the capacity to work effectively under pressure
- The ability to operate autonomously and engage confidently with stakeholders at all levels
