About the role
The Legal team turns complexity into clarity by partnering with teams across Revolut to provide sharp, practical advice that helps the business move fast while staying protected. From structuring credit programmes to navigating new markets, the Legal team ensures growth is secure, compliant, and built for the long term.
We’re looking for an Employment Counsel to advise local management and the Human Resources team on a broad range of employment issues. You’ll be working through the full employment lifecycle, from providing global employment advice to supporting international expansion.

What you\’ll be doing
- Advising on employee relations matters, including performance management, disciplinary actions, and terminations
- Drafting, reviewing, and updating employment contracts, internal policies, handbooks, and other employment-related documentation
- Ensuring compliance with local and international labour laws across multiple jurisdictions
- Managing employment-related risk and supporting internal compliance initiatives
- Supporting internal investigations involving employee conduct or grievances
- Advising on employment law matters during expansion into new markets
- Collaborating with HR and other business stakeholders on cross-functional projects and strategic initiatives
- Monitoring and assessing changes in labour laws and regulations, ensuring timely implementation and compliance
- Liaising with external counsel on employment disputes, pre-litigation strategy, and settlements
- Providing training and guidance to HR teams and managers on employment law topics and best practices
What you\’ll need
- A master’s degree or equivalent in law
- 3+ years of experience in a law firm or international company
- The ability to independently and proactively support a preventive employment approach
- Experience developing and implementing best practices and policies, while responding to and completing projects in an innovative environment
- Solid knowledge of employment laws with experience in practical applications
- Expertise in cross-border employment law
- Fluency in English with impeccable communication skills
- Excellent legal research skills
Nice to have
- Knowledge of rules, laws, and oversight mechanisms governing financial firms
