About the role
The Legal team turns complexity into clarity by partnering with teams across Revolut to provide sharp, practical advice that helps the business move fast while staying protected. From structuring credit programmes to navigating new markets, the Legal team ensures growth is secure, compliant, and built for the long term.
We’re looking for a Legal Counsel who’ll advise local management and the Human Resources team on a broad range of employment issues.
What you’ll be doing
- Providing advice and counsel to local management, ER, and HR on a range of employment issues, including grievances, dismissals, contracts of employment, etc.
- Managing cross‑border projects either in EMEA or globally, including working with external counsel and directly delivering employment law advice.
- Ensuring compliance with local legislation (e.g., working time regulations).
- Advising on global mobility and contingent worker matters.
- Coordinating compensation, benefits, bonuses, and equity awards.
- Handling regulatory issues in the context of conduct, remuneration matters, and regulatory inquiries.
- Managing employment litigation, negotiated exits, and settlements.
What you’ll need
- 7+ years of experience as a qualified employment lawyer in a top‑tier UK law firm and/or in‑house legal department of a multinational organisation.
- Solid knowledge of UK employment laws.
- Fluency in English.
- Excellent legal research skills.
- The ability to organise, prioritise, and work well under pressure and to tight timelines.
- The ability to think analytically and pragmatically to provide innovative, proactive advice and guidance.
- Experience working for a global and culturally diverse organisation.
- The ability to develop and foster partnerships with key stakeholders across the company.
- To be passionate about technology and have a desire to contribute to a dynamic global team.
Nice to have
- A background in banking or other regulatory field.
- In‑house experience.
- Experience with cross‑border employment law issues in EMEA and APAC.
