About the role
Risk at Revolut operates across all functions, products, and regions to monitor front-line performance and ensure the business operates safely. They’re among the first to be involved in new initiatives, from tech to customer support.
We’re looking for an analytical Business Risk Manager to develop sustainable growth strategies that align with operational risk frameworks and take our risk management procedures to the next level.
What you’ll be doing:
- Ensuring that the group is able to achieve and maintain regulatory compliance with Sarbanes Oxley Act 302 and 404 requirements
- Leading the design, implementation, and maintenance of SOX attestation processes to meet 302 and 404 requirements
- Leading and maintaining the integration of SOX framework into the group’s operational risk framework
- Leading the continuous scoping and risk assessment process of identifying the entities and processes in scope for SOX 302 and 404 requirements
- Owning the mid-year and yearly SOX compliance reporting to the Group Audit Committee
- Identifying and delivering SOX training requirements
- Defining the most effective resourcing model to run the SOX framework, and planning hiring accordingly
- Leading a team of Business Control Officers
- Acting as main point of contact for SOX compliance assessments and SOX-related subjects
- Monitoring the guidance and updates issued by regulators, and determining the impact on the group
What you’ll need:
- Expertise in banking and finance
- 5+ years of experience in SOX implementation
- A proven record of excellent stakeholder management with the ability to collaborate, negotiate, and communicate effectively
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment with exposure to oversight of outsourcing arrangements
- The ability to work well under pressure
- The ability to quickly assume responsibilities
- An organised and methodological approach
- Excellent interpersonal skills
Nice to have:
- A professional qualification from an internationally recognised body (ACCA, CPA, CA, etc.)
- Experience with SOX/internal audits within financial services
