To become a Revolent Software Tester you will have:
- Essential:
- Performance Testing Tools: Proficiency with JMeter, LoadRunner, or similar tools for simulating high loads on REST applications.
- Load / Stress Testing: Experience with managing Load and Stress testing on REST/web and standalone Java applications.
- Scripting Languages: Knowledge of Python, Groovy, or similar for test automation for managing Load test scripts as per demand.
- Test Data Management: Creating and managing bulk test data for performance scenarios.
- API Testing: Experience with REST/SOAP API and standalone Java API testing, Experience of Cucumber, Selenium automation tools.
- Java Programming: Strong Java skills for creating custom test frameworks and scripts.
- Monitoring & Analysis: Ability to use APPD, JConsole tools to identify bottlenecks.
- Database Knowledge: Knowledge of SQL, Understanding database performance and query optimization.
- Reporting & Visualization: Skills in creating dashboards and reports to communicate performance test results.
- CI/CD Integration: Experience integrating performance tests into CI/CD pipelines (Teamcity, GitLab CI, etc.).
- Security Testing: Basic understanding of security testing principles.
We will build upon your existing skills and provide you with 9 weeks of paid training to further your skills as a Software Tester. After training, you will become a Revolent Software Tester and will work with our clients as part of their teams for a minimum 2-year period. After this time, you may transfer to the client permanently or remain with Revolent, having gained the skills and the experience needed to kickstart your lucrative career.
As a Revolent Software Tester your day to day role would include working with stakeholders across the business, gathering business requirements and preparing documentation and solutions utilizing your knowledge of configuration and workflows.
