Looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer who is looking to further expand their skills! At Revolent, we will help you on this journey to become a DevOps Engineer. We provide paid training, certifications, access to a professional development and support program and that all-important commercial experience working with some of the world’s leading brands. Our clients range from Fortune 500 companies and well-known retailers, to leading professional services firms and software implementation partners.
You will be paid for training and gain experience working with a leading professional services firm as a DevOps Engineer.
To become a Revolent DevOps Engineer you will have:
- Essential: Candidates who haven’t worked formally as a Java or Python developer are expected to have experience in a different object-oriented programming language (C# / JavaScript).
- Full Stack/Back End Development experience – preferred.
- Exposure to an Agile environment.
- Experience with APIs.
Depending on the team, one (or more) of the following is highly desirable:
- DevOps knowledge.
- Understanding of data modelling/data warehouse/data archive/dashboards.
- Experience with databases (e.g. Oracle, MongoDB, RDBMS, SQL).
- Experience with BI tools (e.g. Tableau).
- Experience of Linux.
- AWS/Cloud.
- Spring Boot.
- Apache Kafka.
- JIRA.
We will build upon your existing skills and provide you with 9 weeks of paid training to further your skills as a DevOps Engineer. After training, you will become a Revolent DevOps Engineer and will work with our clients as part of their teams for a minimum 2-year period. After this time, you may transfer to the client permanently or remain with Revolent, having gained the skills and the experience needed to kickstart your lucrative career.
As a Revolent DevOps Engineer, your day-to-day role would include working with stakeholders across the business, gathering business requirements and preparing documentation and solutions utilizing your knowledge of configuration and workflows.
