The Payments Analyst will support the day-to-day processing of payments, foreign exchange (FX) bookings, reporting activities, and account reconciliations. The organisation operates with a lean team and values close collaboration across all departments to maintain a high standard of service. This role requires strong communication skills, particularly when interacting with clients and internal teams. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working under pressure, managing multiple priorities, and meeting tight deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
- Process UK domestic payments, including BACS, CHAPS, and Faster Payments (incoming and outgoing).
- Process international payments (incoming and outgoing).
- Handle SWIFT payments via SWIFT platforms (e.g., MT103, MT199).
- Perform second checks and authorise manually entered or repaired domestic and international payments.
- Conduct payment investigations under management supervision.
