Are you an experienced IT Procurement professional with a sharp eye for value and a strategic mindset? We are looking for a contract IT Procurement Specialist to join our team and help us source, negotiate, and manage best-in-class IT services, hardware, and software for a multi-site, global organisation.
You’ll work remotely, collaborating closely with the IT Director, wider IT teams, and Supply Chain.
What You’ll Be Doing- Analyse and understand the IT procurement needs of the business
- Research and identify the right vendors and suppliers
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and service levels
- Ensure timely, cost-effective, and high-quality procurement outcomes
- Maintain supplier relationships
- Track and manage procurement records, contracts, and invoices
- Collaborate with IT teams on current and future tech needs
- Stay up to date with IT market trends and innovations
- Review existing contracts and lead renewal or re-tendering plans
- Contribute to global procurement strategy development
- Solid experience in IT procurement (hardware, software, and services)
- Strong negotiation, supplier management, and contract skills
- Good understanding of multi-site/global IT infrastructure
- Familiarity with project-based procurement and implementation
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- CIPS qualification preferred (but not essential)
