This isn’t a typical software engineering role. I’m working with a product-led software company whose platform is used globally by highly technical users to solve real, complex problems in web technology. They’re looking for Product Engineers who care deeply about outcomes over output - engineers who want genuine ownership, autonomy, and the chance to build software that truly matters.
This role is perfect for engineers who started as Java developers but have grown to work across multiple languages, frameworks, and stacks.
- Ship meaningful work with real-world impact
- Designing and shipping robust, user-ready features
- Collaborating closely with other engineers, designers, and product partners
- Using modern AI tools (LLMs, copilots, agents) to improve developer workflows and explore user-facing product opportunities
This role suits engineers who are product-minded problem solvers, not just implementers.
- Strong backend engineering experience (Java is ideal, but mindset matters more than language)
- Curiosity about AI — and good judgment about when (and when not) to use it
- High personal standards for quality and clarity
Software with genuine purpose and global reach. Excellent compensation based on individual impact. If you’re a backend-leaning engineer who enjoys thinking deeply, building carefully, and working on problems that actually matter, this is well worth a conversation.
