Contract Delivery Lead - Data, AI & Automation
UK-based | Contract | Hybrid | £400 per day outside IR35
We are supporting a UK consultancy delivering complex data- and AI-driven programmes for enterprise clients. The work sits at the intersection of delivery leadership, technical understanding, and client engagement. This is a senior contractor role for someone who is comfortable shaping work early, then owning delivery once outcomes are agreed.
What the role looks like:
- Leading early conversations to understand business problems and technical constraints
- Converting loosely defined ideas into structured delivery plans and milestones
- Owning delivery end to end, coordinating engineers and specialists
- Acting as the main point of contact for senior client stakeholders
- Feeding delivery insight back into future work and solution design
Technical environment you’ll be comfortable with:
- AI/data platforms: Python-based systems, ML workflows, data pipelines
- Cloud: AWS, Azure or GCP environments
- Tooling: Git, CI/CD, modern delivery and collaboration tools
