The basics: Up to £80-90k + 10% bonus (basically guaranteed). Hybrid - 2/3 days a week in central Bristol (5 mins walk from train st.)
This role focuses on embedding security throughout the software development lifecycle, working closely with engineering teams to:
- Review code
- Identify vulnerabilities
- Perform threat modelling
- Support secure architecture reviews
- Drive secure‑by‑design and shift‑left practices
You'll also help improve secure coding standards, integrate security into CI/CD workflows, assess application‑layer risks, and support logging and monitoring requirements.
We're looking for someone with experience in software development and application security, strong coding skills in C/C++, C#, or Python, knowledge of OWASP Top 10 risks, Git‑based development workflows, and Linux/Windows environments. Experience working with embedded or performance‑sensitive systems is a plus.
