About Revnet
Revnet Safety Systems installs safety netting, edge protection and access solutions on construction projects across the UK and Europe. We are looking for an experienced Safety Net Rigger to join our team, based from Howden, East Yorkshire.
About the role
As a Skilled Safety Net Rigger, you will work with our site teams to install and remove safety netting safely and efficiently. You will prepare and check equipment, follow site-specific risk assessments and method statements, and work closely with colleagues and other trades on site.
Projects may also involve edge protection and access systems where you have the appropriate training. This is a physical role involving work at height, travel to different sites and stays away from home.
Detailed description of duties
You will:
- Install and remove safety netting on construction projects.
- Check equipment before use and report defects or safety concerns.
- Follow site rules, risk assessments, method statements and safe working procedures.
- Work safely at height using appropriate equipment and procedures.
- Communicate clearly with your team, site managers and other trades.
- Help prepare equipment and keep work areas organised.
- Support less experienced team members where appropriate.
What we’re looking for
- Practical experience installing and removing safety netting.
- A valid CSCS card and the appropriate FASET training or card for the work undertaken.
- A sound understanding of safe working at height.
- A reliable, practical approach and the ability to work well in a team.
- Willingness to travel to project sites and stay away from home when required.
