Nursery Manager – Liverpool (L12)
Lead and manage a well‑established, child‑centred nursery, overseeing a team of 15 professionals to deliver high‑quality early years education in alignment with the EYFS, safeguarding and inclusive practice standards.
Responsibilities
- Drive the day‑to‑day operation of the nursery, ensuring smooth and effective delivery of care and learning.
- Inspire, coach and develop educators, fostering a positive and collaborative working culture.
- Shape the future of the setting by setting vision, goals and upholding the highest standards of care, learning and safeguarding.
- Mentor and support staff to achieve continuous improvement and professional growth.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with families, providing excellent communication and support.
- Collaborate with the support team, including admin, HR, and SEND specialists, to secure resources and maintain regulatory compliance.
- Lead and participate in assessment, curriculum planning and review processes to ensure effectiveness and statutory quality.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Nursery Manager or in a senior early years leadership role.
- Relevant childcare qualification and current registration with the relevant regulatory body.
- In‑depth knowledge of the EYFS, safeguarding procedures and inclusive education practice.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, able to build trusting relationships with families, staff and external partners.
- Demonstrated ability to lead with empathy, professionalism and a commitment to excellence.
