Salary: £26,000–£30,000 per annum
Hours: Full-time, ideally 40 hours per week

We are recruiting for two exciting opportunities within a welcoming, Ofsted-rated “Good” nursery in Potters Bar:
- Level 3 Early Years Educator – up to £26,000
- Level 3 Room Leader – up to £30,000
The nursery has a warm and supportive team culture, with a strong focus on professional development, teamwork and providing high-quality care and learning. The successful candidates will work primarily within either the Buttercups Room, supporting children aged 18–24 months, or the Willows Room, supporting children aged 24–36 months. Some flexibility to work across other rooms will be required.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality care and learning in line with the EYFS
- Plan engaging activities based on children’s interests and development
- Act as a key person and build positive relationships with families
- Complete accurate observations and development records
- Maintain a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment
- Follow safeguarding, health and safety, and nursery policies
- Work collaboratively with colleagues across the nursery
- Room Leaders will also manage the daily running of the room and support, motivate and develop the team
Requirements
- A full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification
- Previous nursery or Early Years experience
- Good knowledge of the EYFS and safeguarding
- Leadership experience for the Room Leader position
- A caring, reliable and proactive approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- An enhanced DBS or willingness to obtain one
- The right to work in the UK
