Love the Outdoors? Want to Be Part of a Nursery That's at the Heart of Its Community?

Revive EYFS Recruitment are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a much-loved, family-run nursery in Leeds (LS21) that has been supporting local families for over a decade. This isn’t a nursery where children spend all day indoors. Here, learning continues beyond the nursery gates. From countryside walks and feeding ducks to visits with local care home residents, theatre trips and community adventures, every day brings new opportunities for children to explore the world around them. If you’re passionate about outdoor learning, building meaningful relationships and giving children unforgettable experiences, you’ll feel right at home.

More Than Just Childcare

This nursery believes children learn best through real experiences. Whether it’s spotting sheep in the fields, visiting the local fire station, enjoying the local park or making connections with older generations in the community, you’ll help children develop confidence, curiosity and a genuine love of learning. You’ll become part of a close-knit team that believes in supporting one another just as much as they support the children.

The Role

As a Level 3 Nursery Practitioner, you’ll help create engaging, play-based learning experiences while supporting children’s emotional, social and physical development. You’ll build strong relationships with children and families, work collaboratively with your colleagues and contribute to a warm, nurturing environment where every child feels safe, valued and encouraged to reach their full potential. With children ranging from babies through to pre-school age, every day offers variety, challenge and the chance to make a genuine difference.

Why You’ll Love Working Here

This is a nursery where people stay because they feel valued. You’ll enjoy the benefits of a genuine work-life balance with an ideal 36-hour week over four days, while also having the flexibility of a job-share arrangement if that suits your lifestyle. Professional development is encouraged, your ideas are welcomed and you’ll be supported to grow your confidence and career within a friendly, family-oriented team.

What’s On Offer

  • £13.00 per hour
  • Permanent position
  • Ideally 36 hours across 4 days
  • Job share considered
  • Shifts between 7:30am–5:30pm or 8:00am–6:00pm
  • 28 days annual leave including bank holidays
  • Enrolment into the Simply Health cashback scheme after probation
  • Flexible approach to family commitments when life happens
  • Plenty of roadside parking outside the nursery
  • Ongoing CPD and career development opportunities
  • Supportive family-run working environment

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for a qualified Level 3 Early Years Practitioner who is warm, enthusiastic and passionate about giving children the very best start in life. You’ll enjoy working as part of a close-knit team, value strong relationships with families and share a love of outdoor learning and community engagement. If you’re looking for more than just another nursery job—and want to be part of a setting where children, staff and families genuinely belong—we’d love to hear from you.
