Revive EYFS Recruitment are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a newly established nursery in Hackney for an experienced and passionate Nursery Manager. This exciting opportunity offers the chance to join a growing setting at an early stage and play a key role in shaping its future. Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the day-to-day operations of the nursery, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements
  • Maintain high standards of care, education and safeguarding across the setting
  • Support, train and develop the nursery team through coaching and mentoring
  • Plan and deliver staff training, ensuring continuous professional development
  • Oversee EYFS curriculum delivery and monitor children's learning and development
  • Build strong relationships with parents and carers through professional communication
  • Prepare for and manage Ofsted inspections, maintaining readiness at all times
  • Manage nursery administration, policies and procedures effectively
  • Ensure safeguarding, health and safety, and first aid procedures are followed at all times
  • Support occupancy growth as the nursery continues to expand

What We’re Looking For

  • Minimum Level 3 Early Years qualification (essential)
  • Previous experience as a Nursery Manager or a strong Deputy Manager ready to step up
  • Strong knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
  • Confident understanding of Ofsted requirements and inspection processes
  • Excellent safeguarding knowledge and child protection understanding
  • Strong leadership, organisation and communication skills
  • Proactive, self-sufficient and able to work independently
  • Warm, approachable and professional manner with children, parents and staff
  • Passionate about developing teams and driving standards

What’s On Offer

  • £35,000 - £40,000 per annum
  • 37.5 - 40 hours per week (4 or 5 days)
  • All year-round setting with Christmas shutdown
