Revive Education Recruitment is working on behalf of a well-established nursery in the E11 area that is looking to appoint an experienced and dedicated Deputy Nursery Manager to join their friendly and supportive team. This welcoming setting is well known within the local community for providing a caring and nurturing environment for children and families. The nursery benefits from a large and engaging outdoor space and a well-resourced environment, supporting up to 60 children.
This is a supernumerary Deputy Manager position, working closely alongside the Nursery Manager to support the day-to-day running of the nursery while maintaining high standards of care and education.
Responsibilities
- Supporting the Nursery Manager with the daily operations of the nursery
- Monitoring and reviewing practice to ensure high-quality early years provision
- Supporting and guiding staff to deliver excellent care and learning
- Leading on SEND within the nursery and supporting children with additional needs
- Completing referrals, implementing support plans and liaising with external professionals
- Ensuring resources and environments support each child's individual development
- Promoting strong safeguarding practice and compliance with nursery policies
Requirements
- Level 3 Early Years qualification or above
- Minimum 5 years childcare experience
- At least 2 years supervisory experience
- Good understanding of EYFS, safeguarding and SEND
- Paediatric First Aid and Food Hygiene (training can be refreshed if required)
