We're recruiting on behalf of a well-established Early Years setting in East London seeking an experienced and motivated Deputy Nursery Manager to join their leadership team. This is an excellent opportunity for an existing Deputy Manager or an ambitious Room Leader looking to take the next step into nursery leadership.
Working closely alongside the Nursery Manager, you will play a key role in supporting staff, maintaining standards and ensuring children receive exceptional care and learning experiences every day.

The Opportunity
This is a hands‐on leadership role where you'll support the day‐to‐day operation of the nursery while leading and motivating the wider team. Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the daily running of the nursery
- Leading staff and maintaining high standards across the setting
- Ensuring ratios, routines and room organisation run smoothly
- Supporting safeguarding, compliance and best practice
- Monitoring observations, planning and children's progress
- Building positive relationships with parents and families
- Leading shifts and supporting team development
- Contributing to continuous improvement and quality assurance
What We're Looking For

- Has experience within an Early Years leadership role
- Has a strong understanding of the EYFS and safeguarding
- Leads with confidence, positivity and professionalism
- Enjoys coaching and supporting practitioners
- Can remain calm and organised in a busy environment
- Builds strong relationships with children, families and colleagues
