Revive Education are recruiting on behalf of a well-established early years setting seeking a confident and enthusiastic Duty Manager to join their friendly and supportive team. This is a hands-on leadership role, ideal for someone who enjoys being on the floor, leading by example, and supporting staff and families day to day.
This opportunity would also suit a strong Room Leader or Deputy looking to step up into a Duty Manager position.
The Role
As Duty Manager, you will act as the manager on duty, overseeing the day-to-day running of the nursery. You will support staff, ensure ratios are met, and help maintain a positive, well-organised environment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Acting as manager on duty
- Overseeing daily nursery operations
- Managing staffing levels, rotas, and shifts
- Supporting and supervising a team of 9 direct reports
- Interacting confidently and professionally with parents
- Ensuring high standards of care, learning, and safeguarding
- Using initiative to resolve day-to-day challenges
