Are you a qualified Level 3 Early Years Practitioner looking for a role that can work around your availability? Revive EY is working with a welcoming and well-established nursery in Guildford that is looking for a caring and enthusiastic practitioner to join its team. The nursery is happy to consider candidates seeking either a term-time-only position or an all-year-round role. The setting has supported families within the local community for more than 15 years. It has recently been renovated and provides care and education for children aged from three months to five years. The team creates a warm and welcoming environment where children learn and develop through play, with activities tailored to their individual needs.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing a safe, caring and stimulating environment for the children
- Planning and delivering engaging activities in line with the EYFS
- Supporting children’s individual learning and development
- Completing observations and maintaining accurate records
- Building positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues
- Following safeguarding, health and safety, and nursery policies
- Supporting the wider nursery team throughout the day
To be considered, you will need:
- A full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification
- Experience working within an Early Years or nursery setting
- A good understanding of the EYFS
- Knowledge of safeguarding procedures
- A warm, patient and caring approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- The ability to build positive relationships with children and families
