Revive Education are recruiting on behalf of a warm and well-established family-run nursery in the Forest Row area for a passionate Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join their baby room team on a permanent basis. Set within a beautiful rural location near Ashdown Forest, the nursery offers a unique outdoor-focused environment where children enjoy fresh air and nature experiences every day, including woodland walks and outdoor learning opportunities. The setting has an excellent local reputation and prides itself on creating a supportive, welcoming atmosphere for both children and staff.
This role is based within the baby room and has become available due to maternity leave, however the position will remain permanent within the team.
The Role
- Supporting babies in a nurturing and stimulating environment
- Planning engaging activities in line with the EYFS framework
- Building strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues

Working Hours
The nursery operates Monday to Thursday between 7:30am – 6:00pm and Fridays between 7:30am – 4:00pm. Shifts are completed on a set rota and may include:
- 8:00am – 4:00pm
- 8:30am – 4:30pm
- 9:00am – 6:00pm
- 8:00am – 6:00pm
All staff complete one 7:30am opening shift per week, finishing at 4:00pm. Some flexibility around shifts may be available.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
- A full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification
- Previous nursery experience, ideally within a baby room
- A caring, enthusiastic, and proactive approach
- Good knowledge of the EYFS framework
- A genuine passion for supporting children’s development
