ABOUT THE ROLE

We’re looking for a highly organised and commercially minded Group Head of Operations to oversee the day-to-day operations of our global supply chain. In this role, you’ll be responsible for managing relationships with third-party logistics providers (3PLs), freight partners and manufacturers, while ensuring timely order processing, stock replenishment and internal inventory transfers. You’ll work closely with retailers, suppliers, logistics partners and internal teams to ensure the smooth and efficient flow of goods across all channels. This role is perfect for someone with solid supply chain experience, ideally within a fast-growing or scale-up environment, who enjoys taking ownership of day-to-day operations and driving performance. You’ll thrive here if you’re comfortable wearing multiple hats, solving problems quickly and helping shape the operational backbone of a high-growth business. Reporting directly to the General Manager, you’ll collaborate closely with teams across Retail, Ecommerce, Marketing, Finance and NPD and Demand Planning.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage the daily operations of our supply chain across sourcing, production, logistics, inventory and fulfilment.
  • Coordinate with third-party manufacturers, co-packers and 3PLs to ensure on-time delivery and service levels.
  • Responsible for managing freight and logistics operations, including documentation and the movement of global stock across air, sea and road shipments.
  • Maintain the ERP system and ensure accurate and timely data entry across all operational processes.
  • Support the implementation of operational processes and tools to drive efficiency and scalability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align operations with commercial goals, promotional calendars and product launches.
  • Track key operational metrics including OTIF, inventory turnover and supplier performance.
  • Help negotiate supplier and logistics contracts, ensuring quality, cost-effectiveness and compliance.
  • Support the Demand Planning Manager to improve forecast accuracy and planning processes.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Previous experience of working in a startup/scale up business.
  • 4+ years’ experience in supply chain, logistics, or operations, ideally within FMCG, retail or consumer goods.
  • Strong understanding of supply chain functions including procurement, demand planning, inventory and logistics.
  • Experience managing third-party manufacturers, 3PLs or freight partners.
  • Process-oriented with a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Analytical and confident using data to support decisions.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally.
  • Degree in Business, Supply Chain or related field preferred.

BENEFITS

  • Private medical care after one year of service
  • £1000 annual training and development grant
  • Two paid wellness days per year
