THE ROLE
This role is both strategic and hands on and sits at the heart of the business. As Finance Director, you will be fully accountable for the financial performance, governance and support commercial decision making of the group across the UK, US and international markets. You will act as a trusted partner to the founders and senior leadership team, providing clarity, challenge and insight to support rapid but controlled growth. You will own financial planning, forecasting, reporting, cash flow management and commercial analysis, ensuring the business scales profitably while maintaining strong financial discipline.
You will oversee all finance operations, including management accounts, statutory reporting, tax, audit, controls and systems. You will lead and develop a high-calibre finance function and work closely with external advisors across audit, tax, banking and legal. You will be comfortable operating at board level while remaining close to the detail. You will move confidently between long term strategic planning and day to day execution, with a strong focus on cash, margin, working capital and risk management.
As the business continues to expand internationally, you will play a key role in supporting new market entry, entity structuring, FX exposure.
