THE ROLE
As Ecommerce Executive you will play an important role in the day to day management and optimisation of our global ecommerce platforms. You will help ensure our websites are accurate, commercially optimised and deliver a seamless premium experience for customers across all markets. Working closely with the Ecommerce Trading Director, Head of Growth and wider Digital team, you will support the execution of trading plans, product launches, merchandising, promotions and site updates. You will also collaborate with Marketing, Creative, Customer Service and Operations teams to ensure a consistent and high performing online experience.
You will be responsible for supporting the management of our international ecommerce storefronts, ensuring content, pricing, merchandising and customer journeys are accurate and consistent across all regions. You will be highly organised, detail-oriented and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. You will regularly review site performance, identify opportunities to improve the customer journey and support initiatives that increase conversion, retention and customer lifetime value. A key part of this role will involve managing and updating the Shopify environment directly. You will be expected to confidently implement site updates, merchandising changes and landing pages without reliance on external agencies. Ideally experienced within a founder-led or startup environment, comfortable operating in a fast-paced setting with an entrepreneurial mindset and a proactive can-do attitude to "make it happen". The role will be based in either our London HQ in Mayfair or our Bristol office with a requirement to be in the office a minimum of three days per week.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supporting the day-to-day management of our ecommerce platforms including Shopify and associated tools
- Supporting the management and optimisation of all international ecommerce sites
- Uploading and maintaining product listings, collections, pricing and product information across global storefronts
- Ensuring all website content is accurate, up to date and aligned with brand standards across all regions
- Assisting with the execution of product launches, promotional campaigns and onsite merchandising
- Conducting regular site checks to ensure functionality, product accuracy and a seamless customer experience
- Monitoring the customer journey to identify friction points and opportunities for improvement
- Supporting A/B testing and conversion rate optimisation initiatives across product, collection and landing pages
- Implementing onsite updates including landing pages, banners, merchandising blocks and promotional content
- Ensuring products, collections and categories are optimised to maximise sales and discoverability
- Supporting search merchandising and analysing search data to improve product visibility
- Monitoring website stock levels and supporting merchandising decisions based on sell through and performance
- Assisting with reporting on ecommerce performance metrics including traffic, conversion rate, AOV and customer behaviour
- Supporting SEO improvements through content updates and onsite optimisation
- Collaborating with CRM, Affiliate and Social teams to ensure a consistent digital customer journey
- Supporting localisation updates across international sites including content and product information
- Supporting testing and optimisation of new tools, apps and ecommerce functionality
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- 2 to 3 years experience within an ecommerce, digital or online trading role
- Experience working within consumer facing brands, ideally within a founder led business environment
- Hands on experience managing Shopify or similar ecommerce platforms
- Ability to independently update and manage Shopify storefronts without reliance on external agencies
- Basic coding knowledge including HTML, CSS and familiarity with Shopify Liquid to support site updates and improvements
- Experience implementing site changes such as landing pages, content blocks, product templates and merchandising updates
- Strong understanding of ecommerce merchandising, customer journeys and digital marketing
- Familiarity with analytics platforms such as Google Analytics or similar reporting tools
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
- Comfortable analysing data and translating insights into practical improvements
- Understanding of SEO, CRO and ecommerce performance metrics is beneficial
- Experience with international markets, specifically UK/US/EU
- A proactive mindset with the ability to take ownership of tasks and work collaboratively across teams
