The Multi‑Instrumentalist Music Minister (Drummer / Guitar) is responsible for supporting the Worship Ministry of Revival House Church by providing skilled musical accompaniment during worship services and other religious activities through the proficient use of multiple instruments, particularly the drums and guitar. The purpose of the role is to enhance congregational worship, support the spiritual life of the church, and contribute to the advancement of the Christian faith through music ministry.

The post‑holder will use their musical abilities to facilitate meaningful worship, encourage congregational participation, and support the overall vision and mission of Revival House Church. Due to the continued growth of Revival House Church and the increasing number of weekly worship services, prayer meetings, conferences, evangelistic outreaches, and other ministry programmes, the church requires a dedicated full‑time Multi‑Instrumentalist Music Minister to strengthen and support its Worship Ministry at the Manor Park branch.

The post‑holder will work under the direction of the Senior Pastor and the Music Director to ensure consistency in worship standards, musical excellence, and ministry values.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide musical accompaniment during worship services, prayer meetings, Bible studies, youth services, evangelistic events, conferences, and other religious gatherings by playing the drums, guitar, and other musical instruments as required.
  • Support congregational worship by working collaboratively with worship leaders, singers, musicians, and the Music Director.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in playing multiple musical instruments to meet the varying musical needs of church services and ministry events.
  • Participate in regular worship rehearsals, music ministry planning meetings, and prayer gatherings.
  • Prepare musical arrangements and support the effective delivery of worship during church services and special religious events.
  • Assist in maintaining a high standard of musical excellence within the Worship Ministry.
  • Mentor, encourage, and provide practical instruction to volunteer musicians, supporting their musical and ministry development.
  • Support evangelistic outreaches, community events, conferences, youth programmes, and special religious services through music ministry.
  • Participate in baptisms, weddings, funerals, dedication services, seasonal celebrations, and other religious ceremonies requiring musical support.
  • Work closely with the Audio Visual Team to ensure the smooth and effective delivery of worship services and ministry events.
  • Assist in maintaining musical instruments and equipment, ensuring they are properly maintained and prepared for all rehearsals and church services.
  • Participate fully in the spiritual life of the church through attendance at prayer meetings, worship rehearsals, ministry development sessions, and other church activities.
  • Uphold the vision, mission, doctrinal beliefs, and worship standards of Revival House Church in all aspects of ministry.

Terms of Appointment

The successful candidate will be expected to meet the following requirements:

  • A minimum of three (3) years’ experience serving within a Christian church in a worship, music, or ministry support capacity, either as an employee or committed volunteer.
  • Demonstrable experience supporting Christian worship services and other religious activities within a Pentecostal or evangelical church setting.
  • Appropriate training, qualifications, or proven experience relevant to the specific ministry role (e.g. music, worship ministry, or church ministry support).
  • A clear Christian testimony and commitment to the vision, values, doctrinal beliefs, and mission of Revival House Church.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with pastors, ministry leaders, volunteers, and members of the Worship Ministry.

Appointment will be on a fixed‑term contract of up to 24 months under the Temporary Worker (Religious Worker) route, subject to the requirements of UK immigration legislation and the church’s employment policies. The successful applicant will be subject to a six‑month probationary period. Employment will be conditional upon the successful completion of an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, together with satisfactory references and verification of eligibility to undertake the role.

Nature of the Role

This is a full‑time Temporary Worker – Religious Worker (Tier 5) position. The role directly supports the religious mission of Revival House Church through the ministry of music and worship. The post‑holder will contribute to the spiritual life of the church by providing skilled musical accompaniment and supporting congregational worship during church services, prayer meetings, evangelistic outreaches, conferences, and other religious activities.

The Multi‑Instrumentalist Music Minister will be based at the Manor Park, London branch and will work under the overall leadership of the Senior Pastor and Music Director, providing consistent, high‑quality musical support that enhances the worship experience and contributes to the effective delivery of the church’s ministry.
