A growing software business operating within the regulatory technology space is looking for a Product Analyst to join their product team. This position would suit someone who enjoys working with data, analysing complex requirements, collaborating with development teams and helping turn business or regulatory changes into software solutions.
You will work closely with Product Owners and Developers, supporting the delivery of enhancements across a suite of specialist products used by customers operating in regulated environments.
What You'll Be Doing- Reviewing regulatory and industry updates and analysing the impact on existing products
- Translating requirements into clear user stories, acceptance criteria and development tickets
- Working with Developers to clarify requirements and support successful delivery
- Investigating bugs and documenting expected versus actual behaviour
- Supporting backlog management and sprint planning activities
- Producing release notes and product documentation
- Collaborating with Customer Success, Product Support and Sales teams to coordinate communications around product updates
- Helping ensure product information, documentation and knowledge resources remain accurate and up to date
- Experience working within a Product Analyst, Business Analyst, Product Support, Product Operations or similar role
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience working with software development teams
- Comfortable writing requirements, user stories or technical documentation
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience with Jira or similar tools would be beneficial
- Exposure to regulated industries, financial services, compliance or reporting environments would be advantageous
