We’re looking for an experienced and relational fundraiser to join our Fundraising & International Partnerships team. The key purpose of this role is to manage and grow a portfolio of existing donors while also identifying, securing, and stewarding new funding partnerships to help realise our bold and ambitious vision. Working closely with the Director of Fundraising & International Partnerships, you’ll build strong, values‑driven relationships with trusts, foundations, individuals, and partners, and play an active role across the organisation in creating an exceptional working environment.
Some of the responsibilities include:
- Research, identify, and develop new fundraising opportunities, creating insightful and impactful engagement strategies for trusts, foundations, and individual donors.
- Build and deepen relationships with existing donors, identifying opportunities for long‑term partnerships and sustainable, ongoing support.
- Write compelling, high‑quality funding proposals and applications to maximise funding success.
- Produce timely, insightful, and compliant monitoring and impact reports in line with donor requirements.
- Play a key role in delivering our three flagship fundraising events each year: Experience Revitalise, Celebrate Revitalise, and Introduce Revitalise.
- Manage and support a small team to deliver fundraising priorities effectively, working closely with the Giving and Finance teams.
- Shape a positive team culture aligned with our Vision & Values, actively engaging with our employee feedback tools (including Peakon).
- Promote the health, safety, and wellbeing of your team, ensuring a supportive and compliant working environment.
- Lead on performance management, development, and training, including regular one‑to‑ones, development reviews, and maintaining clear job descriptions.
Qualifications:
- Fundraising experience, or operating in a similar environment in raising income, that can significantly contribute to raising £6m in annual income.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, able to write excellent briefs and build highly effective relationships internally and externally with donors.
- Proactive, organised and solution focussed with an exceptional eye for detail.
- Experience of successfully leading a team and delivering a strategy.
- Able to accept responsibility for personal and wider team targets.
- Confident with MS Office and CRM Databases.
- Creative and innovative in developing initiatives that can leverage new income.
