This is a remote volunteer role for an Associate/Senior Drug Discovery/Development Editor. The Editor will be responsible for reviewing and editing submitted research articles in the field of drug discovery and development.
Responsibilities
- Review and edit submitted research articles in the field of drug discovery and development, ensuring scientific accuracy.
- Provide constructive feedback to authors and update the reviewers pool; assist in reaching out to potential peer reviewers.
- Collaborate with other editorial team members to maintain high publishing standards.
- Contribute to the development of new editorial initiatives and actively support RevisX's mission.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in scientific editing, proofreading, and manuscript reviews.
- Strong understanding of drug discovery, pharmaceutical sciences, and related disciplines.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with a team and provide constructive feedback to authors.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines in a remote setting.

Commitment
This role is designed to be lightweight, typically small manuscript volume per month (3 max) and a time of 4-6 hours per week in addition to a biweekly 1 hour meeting.
