Revised Recruitment Group are working with a large SEN school in Cardiff who have been recognised as excellent by Estyn in their latest inspection. The school supports pupils aged 3-19 with Autism and/or profound and complex needs. The school prides itself on a positive, inclusive, and welcoming ethos.
The role is to work as a SEN Teaching Assistant within a Special School supporting an adapted curriculum across key stages in a 3-19 provision. You will be supporting the Teacher in a class with no more than 8 pupils. Ideally, the candidate would be looking to start ASAP with a view to this becoming a long-term placement in September.
What you will need to succeed:
- Have a passion for the education of children and working with pupils with learning difficulties.
- Have the ability to form effective working relationships with pupils, staff and parents.
- You will act as a positive role model for pupils with SEN.
- Previous experience in schools is not essential as training will be provided.
