Revised Recruitment Group is recruiting a confident and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to join the team at aHigh School in Barry. This is a fantastic opportunity to secure a full-time role for the entire academic year within a supportive and forward-thinking secondary school. The School is an 1119 comprehensive school serving the Vale of Glamorgan.
The Role
- Supervise lessons in the absence of the class teacher, ensuring students remain on task.
- Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans across a range of subjects.
- Maintain a positive, productive and respectful classroom environment.
- Manage classroom behaviour in line with the school's behaviour policy.
- Provide feedback to teaching staff on pupil engagement and lesson outcomes.
We're Looking For
- Experience working with young people in a school, coaching, youth work or similar setting is desirable.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- A confident, resilient and professional approach.
- The ability to build positive relationships with students and staff.
- An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
- Registration with the Education Workforce Council (EWC), or eligibility to register.
