As a Science Technician, you will play a key role in supporting the science faculty by ensuring all practical lessons are delivered safely and effectively. You will maintain equipment, prepare materials, and assist in creating a safe and productive laboratory environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare, set up, and dismantle equipment and materials for science experiments.
- Maintain stock levels, order supplies, and ensure proper chemical storage.
- Calibrate and perform maintenance checks on laboratory instruments.
- Ensure all activities adhere to current health and safety legislation (e.g. COSHH, CLEAPSS).
- Support teachers and students during practical lessons when necessary.
