This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic educator to support post-16 learners within a successful and inclusive college environment. The campus delivers a wide range of further and higher education programmes across multiple subject areas, supporting thousands of learners across its campuses.
We are looking for teachers across a range of curriculum areas who are committed to delivering engaging learning experiences and helping students achieve their academic, vocational and personal goals.
The Role
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons to FE learners across your specialist subject area.
- Support students to develop knowledge, skills and confidence.
- Prepare learning materials and assess student progress.
- Provide constructive feedback and support learner development.
- Maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Work collaboratively with curriculum teams and support staff.
- Support students in achieving their qualifications and progression goals.
We're Looking For
- A recognised teaching qualification (PGCE/PCET or equivalent) is desirable.
- Relevant industry experience and strong subject knowledge.
- Experience teaching or training learners aged 16+ is desirable.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- A passion for education and supporting learner success.
- The ability to inspire and motivate students from a range of backgrounds.
- An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
- Registration with the Education Workforce Council (EWC), or eligibility to register.
