As a Solution Engineer, you will partner with the account management team with a focus on identifying business value and collaborating on revenue generating strategies and opportunities within Revenera’s product offerings. As a secondary focus, you will participate in various projects to improve the overall sales process and provide customer feedback to our product teams.
This individual will need to understand the software monetization market space, prospects' use cases, present and demonstrate our product solutions, setup evaluations, and articulate how our solutions meet our prospect technical requirements. Software and technology companies want to make the most out of their products. Their goal is to accelerate time to market and innovate as quickly as possible, build products that customers like, understand how they are being used and monetize what matters. Revenera provides the enabling technology and the experts to do just that.
Location: Home office – preferably based in the United Kingdom.
- Partner with sales representatives and services team to drive revenue for Revenera software license, maintenance, and consultancy.
- Produce and/or deliver customer specific demonstrations, technical presentations and proof of concept activities.
- Present our solution’s technical architecture, features, and functions to prospects.
- Demonstrate Revenera solutions via Internet or in-person.
- Setup & configure evaluations of Revenera products for prospects.
- Contribute to RFI/RFP responses, by owning the technical proposal.
- Develop business case and Return on Investment calculations to justify the solution value.
- Build a solution architecture and assist the sales team create a buying vision.
- Work with product management and engineering to define offerings and provide insight from the field back to these groups.
Qualifications, Experience and Requirements:
- You will come from a pre-sale, customer success, and/or consulting background most likely working for a software vendor, partner or a software division of a large multinational IT company that has adopted insights or value-based approach to selling.
- Your domain expertise will include some or all the following:
- Strong experience in use of GenAI in presales sales cycle work and custom demo development.
- Understanding of the sales process and role the SE plays in the sales cycle.
- Understanding of entitlement management systems and software licensing technologies.
- Understanding of business processes from quote to cash.
- Strong experience working in a 'customer facing' environment.
- Strong public speaking and sales presentation skills (onsite, conference or seminar).
- Technical knowledge in Windows, Linux and MacOS operating systems.
- Strong communication skills (written and oral) - presentation; over the phone/conference call, webinar; technical proposal writing.
- Customer focus and insight; dedication to customer success.
- Trustworthy, reliable and with a strong sense of personal responsibility and ownership.
- Team player - extensive collaboration and knowledge sharing.
- Quick learner - keen to adopt and put to use new technical skills.
- Technical influencer - trusted adviser to customers.
Other Requirements:
- Extensive background in proof-of-concept development, delivery, customization, functional demonstration, and business presentations.
- Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
- BS in Computer Science, Engineering (electrical or mechanical) or related disciplines or equivalent experience.
