As a Key Account Manager for Revelyst, you will drive the sales with our highest-value key accounts, including pure players and multichannel partners in our direct markets across Germany, UK, France, Netherlands, Austria and Spain. This role focuses on managing and developing relationships in the Powersports, Cycling, and Lifestyle sectors within the Revelyst portfolio. The KAM will build long-term, cross-brand partnerships at a pan-European level, with strong support from regional KAMs and back-office teams. This position reports directly to the Sales Director Europe.
KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- SALES MANAGEMENT
- Establish all Revelyst brands as the preferred brands within the Pan-European Key Account network, focusing on both existing accounts and new business.
- Maximise sales and service through proactive outbound selling, driving revenue growth and ensuring optimal profitability across Germany, UK, France, Netherlands, Austria and Spain.
- Enhance sales through EDI connections and build brand awareness via personalised trade marketing campaigns.
- Manage sales for the key account base through “Pre Book” and “Re-order” business via customer visits, roadshows, digital meetings, emails, and phone calls.
- Identify opportunities, create strategies, and achieve ambitious goals, driven by measurable Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Actively participate in sales meetings and roadshows, contributing valuable insights to improve sales performance.
- Ensure smooth product launches and seamless introduction of new season products into the key account network across the regions.
- Develop and implement individual assortment plans tailored for each key account.
- Increase sell-in and sell-through by preparing, planning, and delivering effective merchandising presentations on a seasonal basis.
- Create new business opportunities and monitor Pre-book and Forecast conversion rates.
- Encourage participation from the key account network in global and European seasonal sales events.
- Travel frequently for in-person meetings with key clients, industry events, and trade shows.
- Align wholesale e-commerce activities with the D2C retail strategies across the European markets.
- Frequent visits on trade fairs, retail shows and sales meetings.
- Monitor and benchmark competitors and marketplace activities to stay ahead of industry trends and opportunities.
- Stay current on product and market trends, identifying relevant opportunities for accounts based on regional inventory and consumer needs.
- Work directly with European and global product development teams to ensure product offerings meet market trends and consumer demands.
- Establish and maintain proactive, responsive external and internal relationships.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
- At least 5 years of relevant sales experience with Key Accounts.
- Experience in Powersports, Cycling, and/or Outdoor Sporting Goods industries.
- Knowledge of our existing key account network.
- Ability to provide excellent customer service and present effectively to diverse audiences.
- Strong technical proficiency with MS Office applications, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Ability to travel up to 80% of the time.
- Fluent in English – more EU languages a plus.
