We are seeking a compassionate and reliable night-time carer to provide companionship and reassurance to a vulnerable client who experiences loneliness and is at high risk of falls. This role involves two short visits during the night, offering emotional support and monitoring to ensure the client feels safe, settled, and cared for. There is a possibility of an increase in the time for the visits.
Key Responsibilities- Attend two scheduled visits nightly: 11:30 PM-12:00 AM and 2:00 AM-2:30 AM.
- Provide warm, engaging companionship to alleviate loneliness and promote emotional well-being.
- Monitor the client closely during each visit, remaining present and alert throughout.
- No personal care is required. Just Companionship.
- Reassure the client regarding their safety and respond calmly to any signs of distress or discomfort.
- Report any concerns, changes in condition, or incidents immediately to the care coordinator.
- Maintain professional boundaries while fostering a trusting and respectful relationship.
- Must live very close to [Westminister Avenue] due to the timing and frequency of visits.
- Experience in domiciliary or night care preferred, especially with clients at risk of falls.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to motivate and comfort clients.
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining high standards of care.
