About Us
Revalue is the global platform for developing scientifically rigorous carbon credits. We are tackling one of the planet’s most critical but complex challenges - seeing nature regenerated at a planetary scale.
The Role / Who You Are
As our Carbon Solutions Lead, you are the bridge between deep technical rigor and commercial reality. You understand carbon projects inside and out — from baselines and methodologies to financial models and verification cycles — and you know how to translate that complexity into a compelling, credible story. You’re as comfortable in a room with carbon modelers and assessment owners as you are presenting to a climate finance team, corporate sustainability lead, or institutional investor. You can dive into a model, challenge assumptions, pressure‑test the economics — and then step back and clearly articulate why a project matters, how it works, and why it’s investable. This is a hybrid, cross‑cutting role at the core of Revalue’s growth: part technical expert, part strategic storyteller, part trusted partner to both internal teams and external stakeholders.
What You’ll Do
- Bridge Science and Market: Translate complex carbon methodologies, dynamic baselines, and economic models into clear, compelling narratives for buyers and financiers. Articulate the integrity, differentiation, and long‑term value of Revalue’s projects through a technical lens.
- Own the Technical Pitch: Lead deep‑dive project conversations with corporate buyers and investors. Build confidence by clearly explaining risk, additionality, permanence, leakage, and financial assumptions. Tailor messaging to different stakeholders without compromising rigor.
- Partner Cross‑Functionally: Work closely with Carbon Project Analysts (assessment owners), science teams, and commercial product managers to shape how projects are positioned externally. Provide feedback loops from the market to inform project structuring, pricing, and product strategy.
- Guide Lifecycle Thinking: Ensure external stakeholders understand the full carbon project lifecycle — from origination and assessment through certification, issuance, and long‑term monitoring. Support structuring of forward offtakes, investment vehicles, or bespoke buyer solutions grounded in technical and financial reality.
Who You Are
You combine technical fluency with commercial instinct. Perhaps you’ve:
- Worked directly in the voluntary carbon market, structuring or evaluating projects and engaging with buyers or investors.
- Led technical due diligence processes for carbon funds, corporate offtakes, or impact investments.
- Built or interpreted carbon and financial models, and then presented them to non‑technical decision‑makers.
- Sat between assessment and science teams and commercial teams, helping each understand the other.
- Managed conversations with standards bodies, project developers, or registry stakeholders — and understand how certification timelines and risk factors shape real‑world outcomes.
You have a deep understanding of how carbon projects actually move from idea to issuance — and where they succeed or fail along the way. You’re comfortable challenging assumptions, asking hard questions, and defending rigorous methodologies — but you also know how to tell a story. You can make a buyer feel both intellectually confident and strategically excited about a project. You thrive in roles that don’t fit neatly into a box. You enjoy being the connective tissue between teams. And you’re motivated by raising the bar for integrity in carbon markets while helping capital flow toward the right projects.
