We're partnering with a highly regarded specialist reinsurance broker to recruit a Broker Support / Account Handler to join their growing Energy & Renewables team.
This is a technical operations role, providing day-to-day support to the broking team throughout the placement process. You'll be responsible for preparing and processing reinsurance documentation, maintaining placement budgets and ensuring operational accuracy across a busy portfolio. This opportunity is ideal for someone looking to build a long-term career in technical operations rather than broking.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical and operational support to the broking team.
- Prepare and process reinsurance slips by updating existing placement documentation.
- Support placements from pre- to post-placement.
- Accumulate, maintain and reconcile placement budgets using Excel.
- Liaise with brokers, underwriters and internal teams to ensure smooth delivery.
- Support premium processing, settlements and regulatory compliance.
Requirements
- London Market insurance or reinsurance experience in a technical, support or operations role.
- Experience preparing or processing reinsurance slips.
- Strong Excel skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Oil & Gas / Energy market experience is advantageous but not essential.
- Seeking a long-term career within operations.
