Rev & Regs are recruiting for a Financial Reporting Accountant (6-month FTC) role for a dynamic and well-established bank who offer both retail and wholesale banking products and services to private, corporate and institutional clients.
Responsibilities
- Ensure Financial statements are accurate, compliant with accounting standards and statutory requirements.
- Prepare month end reports including income statement, balance sheet and cash flow.
- Work with internal and external auditors to ensure compliance with reporting standards, internal controls and best practices.
- Assist in preparation of financial statement analysis reports including volume rate drivers and annual budget.
- Carrying out periodic accounting procedures at end of month and year, group packs and tax reporting.
- Co-ordinate and document the financial processes.
- Work on ad hoc projects as directed by the Line Manager.
Experience
- Good Knowledge of accounting.
- Experienced in Finance and Accounting function in the financial services sector.
- Degree educated and accounting professional qualification (preferred).
- Strong skills with MS Office suite.
- Excellent inter-personal and communication skills.
- Strong analytical and organisation skills.
- Highly motivated and self-sufficient.
Location
West End of London / 5 days per week in office
