Rev & Regs are now recruiting for a new Commercial Lawyer position, on behalf of a leading global Financial Services company (Investment Banking & Capital Markets sector).
Location: London | Working Model: Hybrid
Level: 2+ PQE (England & Wales or equivalent)
Key Responsibilities
As Commercial Lawyer, your responsibilities will include:
- Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a broad range of commercial and financial agreements, including broker agreements, confidentiality agreements, terms of business, commission-sharing arrangements, IT and marketing contracts, and intra-group arrangements.
- Providing clear, pragmatic legal advice to internal stakeholders to support business decisions while ensuring legal and regulatory compliance.
- Advising on legal risks and obligations associated with transactions, including regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Supporting corporate projects, such as reorganisations, new office openings, and joint ventures.
- Collaborating with internal teams (including finance, operations, compliance, and senior management) and external advisors to ensure legal matters are handled efficiently and in alignment with commercial goals.
Skills & Experience
- Qualified lawyer (England & Wales or equivalent Commonwealth qualification) with a minimum of 2 year PQE in commercial law.
- Prior experience within financial services or investment banking is advantageous.
- Strong drafting and negotiation skills across a variety of contract types.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate legal issues to both legal and non-legal stakeholders.
- Proven ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
