New Business Account Executive
Location: Hybrid or Remote (UK Wide)
I'm recruiting on behalf of a leading UK insurance broker looking to appoint an experienced Account Executives to join its growing commercial insurance team or any specific niche area.
This is an excellent opportunity to develop and grow a commercial client portfolio, supported by significant investment in marketing and lead generation. You'll benefit from a strong pipeline of warm leads, a recognised brand, and the flexibility to work on a hybrid or fully remote basis, with the autonomy to manage your own diary and meet clients as required.
Key Responsibilities
- Win new business and grow a portfolio of commercial insurance clients.
- Manage and develop existing client relationships.
- Convert warm leads while generating your own new business opportunities.
- Meet clients to understand their insurance requirements and provide tailored solutions.
- Negotiate with insurers to secure competitive cover and terms.
- Work closely with internal teams to deliver excellent client service.
Requirements
- Experience as an Account Executive, Client Executive, Development Executive or in a similar commercial insurance role.
- Strong new business development and relationship management skills.
- Experience managing commercial insurance clients across a range of industries.
- Good understanding of commercial insurance products, policies and the broking market.
- An existing book of business would be highly advantageous but isn't essential.
- Self-motivated, commercially driven and confident managing your own diary in a hybrid or remote role.
