Rev Regs are recruiting for a Finance Director position for a well-established and reputable law firm in Tonbridge. With a friendly and warm team, they are one of the most highly regarded firms in the area. This is a senior leadership role offering the opportunity to shape the firm's financial strategy, lead a high-performing finance team, and contribute directly to the continued growth and success of the business.
Reporting to the Partners and working closely with the Management Board, the Finance Director will be responsible for the overall management of the firm's finance function, ensuring regulatory compliance, delivering strategic financial insight, and driving operational excellence.
Responsibilities:
- Management of the accounts team and overall responsibility for the efficient functioning of the team to include, but not exclusively: All aspects of office and client account ensuring compliance with SAR, Bank reconciliation, Petty cash, Purchase ledger, Payroll, VAT returns and Treasury.
- Be on the Firm’s Management Board or, in view of proposed changes to the COFA role, work closely with it.
- Supply of comprehensive financial management information to Partners on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis.
- Responsibility for the financial systems of the firm and the most efficient usage of the same by all members of staff.
- Budgeting and all aspects of financial planning.
