We’re partnering with a fast-growing fintech in the payments space looking to hire an Analytics Engineer into their London team. This is a high-impact role with full ownership across data modelling, pipelines, and dashboards, working closely with Product, Finance, and leadership.
Role responsibilities:
- Design and maintain scalable data models and data pipelines
- Ensure data quality, reliability, and best practices (testing, monitoring)
- Define and document key business and financial KPIs
- Build and maintain high-impact dashboards for decision-making
- Partner cross-functionally with Product, Finance, and senior stakeholders
Key experience & skills required:
- 6+ years experience in analytics engineering / data modelling roles
- Expert-level SQL and strong experience building scalable data models
- Strong BI/dashboarding experience (e.g. Looker, Tableau, Power BI)
- Experience working closely with business stakeholders
- Strong communication and data storytelling skills
Desirable:
- Fintech / payments / FX experience
- Startup or scale-up background
- Experience with dbt or similar tools
- Programming experience (Python or similar)
- Experience with product analytics (retention, LTV, funnels)
Salary: £75,000 – £90,000 + equity + benefits
Location: London (Hybrid – 3 days in office, Shoreditch area)
