Known for delivering a best-in-class customer service, the Compliance Manager role supports our teams and the overall business in continuing to meet our regulatory requirements and maintain our strong processes and procedures to run an effective and compliant business. Due to the hands-on nature of the role working closely with the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and various departments across the organisation, this is an office-based role in Harrogate.
Compliance Manager Responsibilities:
- Manage the compliance monitoring plan
- Monitor and manage the compliance monitoring plan for the customer-facing team
- Provide reporting and Management Information (MI) to the SLT
- Develop and maintain appropriate compliance policies and procedures
- Creation of any required new policies
- Review policies annually
- Remain updated on compliance and industry developments
- Ensure up-to-date knowledge of compliance relevant to the industry, and communicate this to the SLT
- Support and drive Consumer Duty throughout the organisation
- Manage Compliance Reporting Requirements, Documentation And Audits
- Provide all required information for compliance audits
- Creation of annual reports and documentation
- Manage relevant tracking registers
- Provide any relevant information for reporting purposes
- Manage the training log
- Working with the relevant managers and SLT to ensure all required training takes place
- Keep a record of training requirements and training undertaken
- Support the management of complaints and issues
- Support the customer service manager in responding to complaints and issues
- Provide support and information on complaints regarding regulatory compliance and support relevant investigations by providing information

- A willingness to learn and grow with the business
- Ability to work individually, but also as part of a team
- Great attention to detail
- Strong listening skills
- Strong, detailed writing skills
- Articulate and able to clearly communicate at all levels both verbally and in writing
Desirable:
- Degree Level qualification
- Minimum of 1-2 years in Administration, Compliance and/or Risk
- FCA knowledge, however, full training can be provided
