ACCOUNT DIRECTOR – STAKEHOLDER RELATIONS – MUST HAVE INFRASTRUCTURE EXPERIENCE
I’m working with a boutique comms consultancy that specialises in stakeholder engagement and planning consultation for large infrastructure projects. This agency is one of the leading businesses in this space operating on projects across water, waste, transport, and energy. They have worked on some of the largest and most significant infrastructure projects in the country, providing a consultative approach to managing stakeholder, political, and consenting risks. Due to continued growth on the team, they are seeking a bright and experienced Account Director to join and lead on some new and ongoing projects.
The agency operates on a non-hierarchical structure and what’s most important to them is finding someone who is not only knowledgeable on subject matter but is a real team player who is comfortable rolling their sleeves up and being hands-on. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES FOR THE ACCOUNT DIRECTOR
- Lead on relationships with clients and senior project stakeholders
- Manage team output ensuring deadlines are met, and that work is delivered to a high standard
- Position yourself as an expert and leader in the field, able to confidently counsel senior stakeholders
- Develop client strategy both independently and in collaboration with the wider team
- Oversee all account admin and operations including managing billable hours and team capacity
- Active and regular contribution to new business, including sourcing opportunities
