My client, one of the world’s most well-known PR & Communications firms, is continuing to invest in the growth of its corporate communications offering and is looking to hire a Senior Associate Director to play a key role in shaping its next phase. This is a high-impact position for someone who wants to step into a senior leadership role with real influence; supporting the direction of the corporate practice while remaining close to the work, the clients, and the team.
The Opportunity
You’ll act as a senior strategic partner to clients while helping to lead a high-performing team across a portfolio of global brands. The work spans corporate storytelling, executive positioning, reputation management and sustainability communications - delivered in a way that goes beyond traditional channels. This team is focused on evolving corporate communications into something more engaging, culturally relevant and proactive and you’ll be part of driving that shift.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
- Leading day-to-day strategic delivery across key accounts, ensuring work is impactful, insight-led and commercially sound
- Acting as a trusted advisor to clients, providing counsel on reputation, risk and opportunity
- Supporting business growth through organic account development and contributing to new business pitches
- Playing a key role in pitch processes, from shaping ideas through to delivery
- Helping to oversee team structure, workflow and output quality across accounts
- Contributing to the external profile and positioning of the corporate practice
Leadership & Team
You’ll play an important role in leading and developing the team, including:
- Mentoring and supporting junior and mid-level team members
- Helping to create a positive, high-performance team environment
- Maintaining strong standards across all output, from strategy through to execution
- Supporting senior leadership in addressing challenges and driving team effectiveness
Commercial & Operational Contribution
- Supporting account financials, including forecasting and revenue tracking
- Working with senior leadership on budgeting and resource planning
- Using commercial insight to identify opportunities for account growth
Key Skills
- Strong experience in corporate communications within an agency environment, ideally working with well known global brands
- A track record of contributing to client strategy and delivering impactful campaigns
- Experience supporting new business activity and growing client relationships
- Confidence working with senior stakeholders and navigating complex or sensitive situations
- Proven ability to mentor and support team members
- Good commercial awareness and understanding of account performance
- A proactive, solutions-focused mindset
