We’re looking for an Account Director with experience within Public Affairs or Strategic Communications. Experience within energy, built environment or infrastructure is a bonus.

You’ll lead strategic public affairs, corporate communications, and stakeholder engagement programmes for high-profile clients—helping them navigate regulation, influence policy, and build trusted reputations with policymakers, regulators and the media.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and deliver high-impact public affairs and policy engagement campaigns.
  • Provide senior counsel on strategic communications, political risk and reputation management.
  • Manage major client relationships and mentor consultants to deliver exceptional work.
  • Identify and develop new opportunities for growth, new business, and thought leadership.
  • Oversee content development — from policy briefings and reports to media statements and opinion articles.
What You’ll Bring
  • 5-10 years’ experience in public affairs, strategic communications, or policy advisory, ideally within an agency.
  • Proven experience in a regulated industry; knowledge of regulation and corporate reputation issues.
  • Understanding of the UK political system, with an active network across Parliament, regulators and trade bodies.
  • Strong writing, analytical and presentation skills, plus a proactive, commercial mindset.
