Hybrid: 3 days in office
A rare opportunity to take the helm of global communications for one of the most dynamic, fast-growing companies in enterprise AI. Fuelled by major recent investment and rapidly growing global demand, the company is scaling at speed – and looking for a PR & communications leader ready to help define the narrative as it grows.
This is a high-impact, high-visibility role where you’ll work directly with the CEO and senior leadership team, shaping how a category-defining technology brand tells its story across the UK, US and beyond. If you’re a bold, strategic communicator with deep tech instincts, this is the role where you can genuinely move fast, influence direction, and make your mark.
The Role
As PR & Communications Lead, you will own and drive the global comms strategy for a business at the forefront of AI innovation.
This is a standalone role to begin with – but not a lone one. You’ll work closely with a high-performing external agency and help shape future internal hires as the function grows. Your remit spans both the UK and US, with a particular focus on the US tech ecosystem and broader Silicon Valley innovation landscape.
From thought leadership and strategic messaging to tier-1 media engagement, you’ll ensure the company’s voice is distinctive, compelling, and consistently ahead of the market.
What You’ll Do
- Lead the global PR and communications strategy across the UK and US markets.
- Act as the key comms partner to the CEO/COO – advising, shaping narratives, and reacting quickly to opportunities.
- Drive high-impact media relations, maintaining a strong presence across tier-1 business and national titles while re-energising relationships with relevant trade publications.
- Oversee and guide external PR agency partners to deliver sharp, fast, high-quality output.
- Develop thought leadership, executive content, op-eds and strategic messaging that cuts through in a crowded AI space.
- Identify and capitalise on rapid-response media moments to position the business at the forefront of enterprise technology and AI.
- Collaborate closely with marketing, product, and commercial teams to amplify milestones and customer successes.
What We’re Looking For
You’ll thrive here if you operate with confidence, curiosity and pace – and you’re excited by the opportunity to shape the comms function of a high-growth AI company.
Experience Required:
- 8+ years in PR & strategic communications, ideally within tech, AI, VC-backed or high-growth companies.
- Strong understanding of the US tech ecosystem (Silicon Valley mindset and media landscape).
- Proven experience influencing and advising C-suite leaders.
- A track record of achieving strong coverage across tier-1 national/business titles, with solid trade relationships a bonus.
- Ability to articulate a clear, personal point of view on the AI landscape and technology trends.
- Comfortable setting strategy while working with agencies on delivery.
- Bold thinker with a challenger mindset.
- Comfortable making quick decisions and testing ideas in real time.
- Strong judgement, resilience and ability to operate independently.
- Thrives in a vibrant, collaborative environment.
You’ll be joining a fast-moving, energetic team based in a great area of Central London.
The culture is ambitious and collaborative – high standards, high impact, but not a late-hours culture. You’ll be trusted to move quickly, own outcomes, and pick things up when needed, without the expectation of constant overwork.
Salary & Benefits
- Hybrid working: 3 days in office (Mon/Weds/Thurs)
- Opportunity to shape a global comms function from the ground up
