Account Director – Financial Services Communications

Are you a strategic communicator who thrives on shaping complex stories for clients in the financial services world? This growing, independent consultancy is looking for an Account Director to strategise integrated communications programmes for high-profile brands across asset management, investment, and broader financial services.
You’ll join a close-knit, collaborative team that advises senior stakeholders on their most critical communications challenges – from reputation management and media strategy to thought leadership and crisis response. What you’ll be doing
- Own client relationships across financial services accounts, providing strategic counsel and direction
- Oversee the delivery of multi-channel communications programmes across corporate, media, and digital channels
- Manage and mentor a small, high-performing team, ensuring exceptional quality of work
- Develop and implement media strategies that resonate with financial, trade, and national press
- Identify opportunities for clients to enhance their visibility and reputation across the investment, banking, and wealth management sectors
- Contribute to business development through fresh ideas, networking, and content
